C&L Tapered Roller Bearings are separable: the cone with the roller and cage assembly and the cup can be mounted separately. The modified line contact between the rollers and raceways eliminates edge stressing. Tapered roller bearings accommodate high radial and axial loads. As tapered roller bearings can transmit axial loads only in one direction, a second, symmetrically arranged tapered roller bearing is usually needed.

 C&L tapered roller bearings have pressed steel cages. When ordering matched tapered roller bearings, please state the number of individual bearings, not the number of bearing pairs.
